Located just north of the Padre Island Seawall, this Gulf-front locale is only minutes from local eateries, fishing spots, and fun things to fill your day!

September getaway

Everything was great. Supplies in the kitchen were limited (measure cup), potholders. But otherwise it was a nice unit. Appreciated having more than 2 chairs on the balcony.

Lovely, functional, and comfortable!

We have stayed in this unit the past couple of years. Our favorites: the large dining table, the comfy beds, the dark shades in the ocean front room, the fridge with water / ice on the door, the double oven, and the pantry. We did need to ask for help with the bed in the 1st room, as the sleep numbers were off. Lovely condo - great for 2 couples and visits by grandchildren.

We always enjoy our trips to the Gulfstream. Great location, easy access to the beach and pool, very accommodating staff with condos and space to meet our needs. We will be back, but before we return, we hope we might see some continued improvements to some of the basics in unit 312. We chose a beach front unit to of course enjoy the views, but to our disappointment the window blinds in this unit were very old with multiple blinds broken or not functioning properly. We were unable to lift the blinds to enjoy that beach front view and at night block some of the outside lights. The balcony door has no blinds, previously taken down which we believe caused some privacy issues. We did like the updated kitchen and the large refrigerator in this unit. Plenty of space to prepare meals. Downsides with the units kitchen were the low flow hot water. Also the oven surface burners was so worn is was difficult to read the stove top setting. Nice double oven though.The Gulfstream should consider investing in a little nice selection of bar soaps. For the prices paid, an upgrade from Motel 6 level bath and face soaps would be highly recommended. Also consider adding some hand soaps in both the bathrooms and kitchen.The utility closet in this unit doesn’t close properly and would often fly open. Just a small nuisance that could be easily repair if someone would just take the time. This unit had some nice upgrades, but the issues listed above detracted making this trip a good stay, but not great!Another suggestion would be electric outlets in the back bathroom.

Nice with a few adjustments

Nice and clean place to stay. There were a few things to make better. The ceiling fan chain needed to be fixed to work. The dishwasher really smelled of mildew. It would have been nice to have a small dish soap for dishes and couple kitchen towels.

Enjoyabe Stay - Again

Updated unit. Very good condition. Comfortable furniture. Pleasantly surprised at the amount of available kitchen cabinet space. Just the essentials and not a lot of mismatched pots, pans and gadgets to dig through. Bonus, microwave/convection oven useful for re-heating leftovers. Gulfstream is our preferred location for beach trips. Where else can you have an entire unit overlooking the gulf and only steps from the beach and sea wall? Walking distance to jetty. Made a couple trips to Port A and Corpus. No more trips over the bridge to HEB. Island Market IGA has everything, even a bit upscale.

Needed Getaway

Our vacation getaway was wonderful!!! The condo was beautiful, fully furnished, didn't have a want for anything!!! The view was spectacular, morning, noon and night. Would come back and recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful getaway weekend

This was a great decision to rent this condo for an anniversary weekend. Great view, very clean. The only thing I could suggest is to renovate the exterior of the entire complex - the wood looks a bit worn but I’m sure that is in the plans as I could see a lot of repairs still ongoing. We didn’t use the pool and courtyard but it looked amazing, lots of happy families enjoying it. Being able to walk right out to the beach is so convenient. It’s not a very busy stretch since it is relatively restricted from vehicle traffic from the south end of the sea wall.

Vacation on the Beach

It was wonderful. On the beach and close to the water.Shower in first bathroom had limited water flow, need to update coffee maker and had a hard time reading instrument panel on stove due to wear, but all minor issues in comparison to overall stay.

Clean and organized rental property, but bedding needed washing

The experience itself was great. It was always a smooth process from check in to check out. The only thing that is concerning is that the bedding was dirty. I’m sure they were not washed. They smelled like feet and for sure the decorative pillows were never washed as they were not covered with the zippered pillowcases. This has been so consistent that I already anticipated this thing to happen again based on the last few years experiences in the same place (different units). So, I brought my own bedding. Also the door facing the beach did not have blinds. I would recommend this place for the location and view.

Policy

  • Rates are per night for up to 4 persons. We accept cash, credit  or debit cards.
  • Check in: 4:00 p.m.
  • Check out before or at 11a.m.
  • Guests must be 25 years or older to rent a condominium.
  • AAA-2 Diamond Rating Pet Free Property (Except service animals)
  • Please contact us for holiday or group reservations.
  • Minimum reservation is 2 nights. Holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day) are minimum 3 nights.

 

Cancellation Policy: A one-night deposit is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Your deposit is fully refundable, minus a $20 cancel fee, if cancellation is made 30 days prior to arrival date. Any cancellation made within 14-30 days prior to arrival will receive 50% refund minus a $20 cancel fee and no refund for cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival date. Monthly rentals must cancel 60 days prior to arrival. There are no refunds for early departures.
