Our Annual Vacation

For the last few years we have stayed at the Gulf Stream Condos during the second week of June. We've always been pleased with the property, the beach, and the pool area. We did not go in 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic and were really anxious to be back this June. We chose a condo facing the ocean and were very pleased with Room 217! It was clean, comfortable and delightfully decorated. The only negatives were a non-working doorbell and a burned out porch light (very minor issues). The beach was so clean and uncrowded and there was always an available table with umbrella at the pool area. My only real concern was that the price seemed higher this year (perhaps to make up for few customers in 2020) The total for two nights was over $800. When I checked out on June 10th, I asked for a printout of charges and fees and was told that it would be emailed to me. As of today, June 14th, I have not received my receipt--just this survey.

Great location but lights and phone need maintenance

We stayed 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday). On the first night, we had noisy downstairs neighbors (we could hear the all the lyrics to their music as well as the bass). We called the front office to complain and the manager talked to the guests. We were very pleased that the noise promptly stopped. We discovered on Saturday that the room's landline phone and dining room ceiling fan lights did not work. The maintenance person said he would put in a work order on Sunday. When we left on Monday morning, the ceiling fan light still did not work.The location was amazing! The property is on the beach, so you only have one set of stairs to descend to reach the beach (no need to cross the street or walk down a long boardwalk). The unit is well-stocked with linens, kitchenware and utensils.Overall, we had a decent stay and would return.

Overall it was good, the light fixture in the kitchen didn’t work nor did the dish washer and the pull out bed was not comfortable.

Policy

  • Rates are per night for up to 4 persons. We accept cash, credit  or debit cards.
  • Check in time is anytime after 4:00 p.m.
  • Check out is by 11:00 am. 
  • A one night deposit is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation. It is fully refundable, minus a $20 booking fee if cancellation is made 72 hours prior to arrival.
  • A cancellation made less than 72 hours prior to arrival will be subject to deposit forfeiture.
  • Guests must be 25 years or older to rent a condominium.
  • AAA-2 Diamond Rating Pet Free Property (Except service animals)
  • Please contact us for holiday or group reservations.
  • Minimum reservation is 2 nights. Holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day) are minimum 3 nights.
