Comfortable Getaway

While, old the Gulf Stream is a great condo complex. The unit was very clean. Main complaints: the south side elevator was broken, meaning we had to walk all the way around the entire building to use the north side elevator (we were on the 5th floor). ASK about this before you book, as we were told it's been broken for a long time!! Nowhere near enough towels for 4-6 people for three nights. Units should be fully stocked with towels. Coffee maker didn't work at all and the unit had minimal cooking accessories.

Time Warp

My husband has been staying at this property since he was a small child and I’m pretty sure our unit looked the same then. Don’t take my review as us having a bad time because we had a blast. Just wish this unit was updated a bit more. The main bathtub needs to be refinished and caulking redone due to gross black stuff, probably mold. The shower head had to be original cause it was lacking the ability to wash anything. The kitchen can only occupy one person and barely that. It was poorly stocked. We have stayed here many many years and never had a unit with so many disappointments. The tv in the bedroom had to be Maguyvered with a chocolate milk bottle to allow the cable to it be crushed just to watch tv.

Unit 520 Review

Unit 520 at the Gulfstream was the worst unit we've stayed in over the many years we've stayed at Gulfstream. It reeked of stale cigarette smoke and the kitchen didn't even have forks. The appliances were new which was nice but there was next to nothing in terms of kitchen utensils.

Vacation

There were no forks in the kitchen, so we borrowed 4 forks from my aunt in a different room (they were returned before we left). Also the frame for the king bed was broken when we got there. One side fell through. We fixed it Thursday night and thought it would stay, but had to fix it again Friday night. I’ve stayed here with my whole family for the past 4-5 years, but this is the first time I have come (and paid for a room myself) with my fiancé, stepson, and sister. This is the first time there has been missing things or had problems with furniture. That was kind of disappointing.

Overall very pleasant.

We had a very nice time during our stay at Golfstream's. We did have a room change from our original booking which was not what we expected. Our room was then changed to a newly remodeled room whcih was beautiful. However, the beds in that condo were very uncomfortable and I believe broken. The mattress was hard as a rock on one side and you could feel the frame on the other side. Almost slept on the couch!! The staff was great and very friendly.

Policy

  • Rates are per night for up to 4 persons. We accept cash, credit  or debit cards.
  • Check in: 4:00 p.m.
  • Check out before or at 11a.m.
  • Guests must be 25 years or older to rent a condominium.
  • AAA-2 Diamond Rating Pet Free Property (Except service animals)
  • Please contact us for holiday or group reservations.
  • Minimum reservation is 2 nights. Holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day) are minimum 3 nights.

 

Cancellation Policy: A one-night deposit is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Your deposit is fully refundable, minus a $20 cancel fee, if cancellation is made 30 days prior to arrival date. Any cancellation made within 14-30 days prior to arrival will receive 50% refund minus a $20 cancel fee and no refund for cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival date. Monthly rentals must cancel 60 days prior to arrival. There are no refunds for early departures.
