Located just north of the Padre Island Seawall, our Gulf-front condominium is only minutes from local eateries, fishing spots, and the fun things to fill your day!

Nice, but too sandy
Review by Julia R. We've had family vacations at the Gulfstream for years, but this trip was our first for staying on the first floor. There are pros and cons to choosing this level. Pro: easy in and out, and it's fun to step outside and walk directly to the beach. One night, a couple of first floor neighbors came out for an impromptu party in the grass. Cons: view not as great as on higher floors, privacy is a big concern, and lots of sand came into the room. We have already made plans to come back next year to the Gulfstream. The location is amazing, and the staff really works to keep everyone happy. The pool is the nicest I've seen on a Texas beach. The property was built in the 70's, and the salt water is murder on everything, so upkeep is a constant concern. We stayed in room 116. The king bed is good, and the dining area is great for gatherings. The two twin beds expand to trundles, which could easily sleep 4 kids. The couches were comfortable, and the big screen TV's are an added bonus.A big shout out goes to property engineer Larry, who is friendly, helpful, and a joy to see every year.

Gulfstream Condos are nice roomy and close to the beach. We experienced some minor issues with the deadbolt not working and the phone not working. It's disappointing and inconvenient that towel and bedding service has been eliminated.

Review by Karyn H. We loved 116, except for the stickiness of the nice big table. The refinishing apparently didn't leave a proper finish. Also, it was very hard to turn on the bathtub water and the bathtub drain was VERY slow.

Great view and access to the beach.
Review by Amber H. Everything was perfect, minus not having access to functioning TV/Cable. maintenance was there to quickly attempt to rectify the situation but in the end, nothing could be done. Also, the ice maker would make a loud knocking noise every 30 minutes or so.... which was very disturbing when trying to sleep. Other than that, it was an over all great stay.

Our happy place!
We love love it here! From the beautiful view to the comfy condo, and fun pool area! We were introduced to Gulfstream 7 years ago and have been back ever since.. We are lifers thank you for a great weekend get away..

Room 116
Review by Melinda C. I have been staying here for over 40 years (came when I was a teenager) and this is the first time I have had huge issues with things not working. The room was nice, but not all remotes needed to work TV's, no batteries in the remotes we had. HUGE issues with plumbing and back ups in the kitchen sink where maintenance had to come out 3 times to fix. Slow follow through on repairs, said they would call a plumber, when checked the next morning, no one had called and had to request again. Things did get corrected, however not a great experience overall. My husband staying in same room three weeks prior with many of the same issues concerns. Not a good choice for a room to stay in.

A few items need attention

Items that room 116 are in need of currently:Water pressure at kitchen sink very low.Water spigot in front bathroom needs to be tightened to counter top.Shower door in front bathroom extremely difficult to move.Volume / sinc issues with TV in living area.2 chairs to patio completely unusable (legs corroded off)......why are they left there in this condition.I have been coming here since the early 80's and we continue to stay here multiple times a years. We have this room booked for Thanksgiving hopefully these issues will be resolved by then.Needless to say for the amount we pay we expect the basic items to be functional.I appreciate your time.

Absolutely Wonderful!
Review by Rosemary A. Very nice, we love the ocean view and lower unitsThe only thing is the twin beds in most of the units, we usually have my elder parents with us and it's more for a child set up. Also some kitchen utensils were not there as well as a large large pot or a crock pot.

Texas Snowbird
Review by Leon S. This is a great location with wonderful weather (this year) and only 50 feet from a super clean beach. The morning sunrises from the oceanfront view are stunning. the unit itself is very comfortable. I wasn't fond of the tall unpadded dining chairs but that's a personal preference. The extra large table was perfect for our use. The Gulfstream's maintenance stall responded quickly to any requests and were quite efficient and friendly. This is my third different rental place on Padre Island and so far the best. We are making plans to return next year to the same unit.

Policy
- Rates are per night for up to 4 persons. We accept cash, credit or debit cards.
- Check in: 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
- Check out before or at 11a.m.
- Guests must be 25 years or older to rent a condominium.
- AAA-2 Diamond Rating Pet Free Property (Except service animals)
- Please contact us for holiday or group reservations.
- Minimum reservation is 2 nights. Holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day) are minimum 3 nights.
Cancellation Policy: A one-night deposit is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Your deposit is fully refundable, minus a $20 cancel fee, if cancellation is made 30 days prior to arrival date. Any cancellation made within 14-30 days prior to arrival will receive 50% refund minus a $20 cancel fee and no refund for cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival date. Monthly rentals must cancel 60 days prior to arrival. There are no refunds for early departures.
